IntegraSolv Joins Computer Measurement Group
Tinton Falls, NJ – October 11, 2007
IntegraSolv Corp., leader in the enterprise class real-time application management, today announced that it is joined the Computer Measurement Group (CMG).
Owl provides application support teams and IT management with a business focused, holistic view of the health and performance of the application services networks, of the business processes that those applications support, and of the relevant IT infrastructure. At the heart of Owl is a real-time model of business processes, and their dependencies on application architecture and IT infrastructure. The model is kept "live" by real-time analysis of incoming enteprise telemetry. The key Owl capabilities include auto-discovery of applications and related dependencies, zero administration, business impact evaluation, visual root cause analysis, and historical analysis.
The Computer Measurement Group, commonly called CMG, is a not for profit, worldwide organization of data processing professionals committed to the measurement and management of computer systems. CMG members are primarily concerned with performance evaluation of existing systems to maximize performance (eg. response time, throughput, etc.) and with capacity management where planned enhancements to existing systems or the design of new systems are evaluated to find the necessary resources required to provide adequate performance at a reasonable cost.
"The Computer Measurement Group's is a well respected organization focused on measurement and management of computer systems. And applications are the system's key component.” says Arthur Frankstein, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for IntegraSolv. “IntegraSolv will focus the attention of CMG members on importance of considering the direct measurement of application architecture performance in their evaluations. ”
